Krystle R Seidel

Hello everyone!

My name is Krystle, and I’m honored to join the Department of Pediatrics team at the University of Florida as a Family Partner. In this role, I’ll be working closely with families to offer support, guidance, and a listening ear as they navigate care and treatment. I’m here to help ensure their voices are heard and that their experience is as smooth and supported as possible.

Professionally, I bring a background rooted in supporting families through challenging and meaningful experiences. I’ve worked as a birth doula, a paraprofessional in school settings, and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), roles that taught me the importance of empathy, clear communication, and meeting people where they are. These experiences have shaped how I show up for families — with care, respect, and a deep commitment to partnership.

Personally, I’m also a parent to a child with Down Syndrome and congenital heart disease. I understand firsthand what it feels like to navigate the healthcare system, manage big emotions, and advocate for your child while juggling everything else life demands. My journey as a mom has given me a profound appreciation for the strength and resilience that families bring to the table every day.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my children, getting outside in nature, reading good books, and painting. I believe in finding joy in the little moments and building community through kindness and connection.

As a Family Partner, I hope to be someone families can turn to — whether they need resources, have questions, or just need someone who understands. I’m truly looking forward to supporting families alongside the incredible care teams here to continue providing compassionate, family-centered care.
